Why we exist
Maho is a fork of OpenMage, which was a community-driven continuation of Magento 1 after Adobe ended support. Maho modernises that lineage — PHP 8.3+ native, Symfony components, API Platform, proper Composer tooling — without the weight of Magento 2 or the lock-in of Shopify.
That ecosystem needs commercial extensions. Merchants need modules they can trust: built against the current Maho release, installed with one composer require, supported when things break. That's what we do.
How we price
Our commercial modules are priced 50–65% below the equivalent Magento 2 incumbents. Single-store licenses at one price, unlimited at roughly 2.2×. Year one updates included; year 2+ at 30% of the license per year for security + Maho-compatibility maintenance. Standard pattern in the ecosystem — no surprises.
Open core
Many of our modules ship a free tier on GitHub under Apache 2.0 alongside a commercial Pro tier here. The free tier solves the 80% case; Pro adds waitlists, advanced dashboards, deeper integrations, AI-powered features. You only upgrade when you hit the wall.
